TaylorMade Burner Review

Review: TaylorMade Burner Superfast 2.0

Overview

After putting this club through a strict evaluation on Performance, Feel/Aesthetic, and Construction we came away with some impressive data. This product to exceed my expectation and provided every aspect of a performance driver. Of the many TaylorMade Drivers I choose the Burner Superfast 2.0 to review. This driver made its debut in 2010 and has and overwhelming reputation as and excellent, versatile, driver.

Feel/Aesthetic

The first thing I noticed when I picked this club up was the striking coloration. The brilliant white in combination with a sleek design structure makes this an attractive addition to your golf bag. Added graphics with a contrasting black clubface and underside to match makes this club pop. The comfortable grip with a feather light club makes for some added distance to your drives. The lightweight design allows for added control to achieve better contact.

Performance

If you give this club a try you would notice the tremendous amount of forgiveness this club offers. This allows for more consistency in your drives as well as added distance. The club offers a bigger sweet spot and dependable loft to your drives. When I swung the Burner I had complete confidence through every swing.

Construction

The tapered cone shape allows a more aerodynamic shape resulting in a faster swing. With a weight of 279 grams and a higher launch point on the club produces a longer drive with less spin on the ball. This is also because the club has a lower center of gravity creating loft and a bigger clubface to insure consistent contact and distance.

Summary

I think the thing to take away from this review is the reliability of this club. Although I’m not a club pro or on the PGA I think this club offers more distance and accuracy to your drives without really having to do anything to my swing. The burner is really the total package. Attractive colors, sharp head design, and its backed performance make the TaylorMade Burner Superfast 2.0 the club to beat.
